Let's Get Cooking.
Ingredients
2 cups cubed sweet potato
1 onion, diced
1 bell pepper, diced
1.5 oz Original Dyno jerky, chopped
2 tbsp olive oil or ghee
4 eggs (optional, fried or poached to top)
Original Dyno
Classic Beef Jerky
$14.99
Preparation
Cook the Sweet Potato
Heat the olive oil or ghee in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the cubed sweet potato in a single layer and cover the pan with a lid. Cook for 12–15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the cubes are fork-tender and starting to caramelize at the edges. The lid traps steam to cook them through while the direct heat browns the outside.
Add the Vegetables
Add the diced onion and bell pepper to the skillet, stirring them into the sweet potato. Cook for 5 more minutes, until the onion is translucent and the pepper has softened slightly. You want the vegetables to retain a little bite — not turn to mush.
Warm the Jerky
Stir in the chopped Original Dyno jerky and cook for 2–3 minutes, just long enough to warm it through and let its savory flavor meld with the vegetables. The residual heat softens the jerky slightly without toughening it.
Top with Eggs & Serve
Divide the hash among plates. If using, top each portion with a fried or poached egg — the runny yolk mingles with the sweet potato and jerky in a way that's deeply satisfying. Serve hot, straight from the skillet.
